This is the instructor-led version of the module, designed to be facilitated by an instructor over the course of ca. 13-15 weeks with synchronous (online or face-to-face) and asynchronous components and with a group project component (based on how it has been taught at the University of Leipzig, Germany).

    • In this week, we explore three overarching concepts of the module as well as their relations. 


      Anchor Concepts:  evolution,  behavior, sustainability

      Sub-concepts: cause, change, regeneration, resilience

      Conceptual questions:

      • What is sustainability? 
      • What is evolution? How is it relevant to sustainability?
      • What is (human) behavior? How does it impact sustainable development?
      • How do evolution and behavior relate to sustainable development?
